Five of the six clients reported concerns regarding a lack of privacy during phone calls.  During the inspection, the licensor and investigator conducted an experiment in the designated phone call area and observed the area as a rectangular room with a stairwell and railing located in the center. Storage cupboards were located on one side of the stairwell, and three phone call booths which contained individual call spaces separated by plexiglass/dividers, with the staff desk located at the other end of the room approximately 10-15 feet from the call booths. To assess audibility, the investigator stood in the call booths and spoke at a normal conversational volume from the call space while the licensor stood at the staff desk. The licensor was able to hear the investigator speaking from all three call booths.
